ingrowing hairs

Right you had the what home wax is the best, then the which epilator should I get topics now comes the third and hopefully final entry in the series, whats the best way to get shot of ingrowing hairs?.

They are not pimple like, they grow in a straight line but go back in to the skin at the other end, I've left my legs ages in the hope they would come out themselves with me scratching and the like which they have somewhat but there must be a better way to get them out then a pair of tweezers and a scrub with a kitchen sponge?.

Roll on deodorant after shaving seems to stop them for me, apparently it's an old stripper's trick (and I'm not speaking from personal experience on that end!! ;))
