What shoes do I want?

I want something I can wear with skinny jeans/trousers, with a bit of a heel but not too much, not boots and not ballet pumps? No open toe, and kinda smart that I can wear them fir every day and for work (casual-ish dress code)

Kind of for in between?

Any ideas? Do these shoes even exist?

I second the heeled desert boots. I bought a pair in the Dune sale last week. £100 reduced to £30 They're so comfy and look quite smart. I've only worn them with my skinnies so far but would wear them with a skirt.

Sorry not keen on the desert boots, I think a bit too high as I'm on my feet all day and can't be doing with achy feet!
