I'm 24 weeks pregnant and have a small, very low bump which is all at the front. Baby is currently transverse and wedged between my hipbones which means rather than the swallowed-a-melon shape I'm more solid-spare-tyre.
Maternity clothes look flipping ridiculous because there's no bump where there ought to be one. I still have the outline of a waist and I'm surviving in floaty dresses with a belt round the waist but does anyone have any top tips for dealing with my predicament?
My usual style was straight wide-legged trousers and a fitted top but makes it look like I ate too much chocolate especially as I can't do my trousers up. I have a pair of maternity skinny jeans, straight legged trousers for work and a denim skirt and it's summer where I am at the moment. All my pre-pregnancy tops fit but I'm at a loss how to disguise/accentuate the bump. I don't mind changing my 'look' completely - I'm not that attached to it and whilst it used to work it clearly isn't doing anything for me any more. Please tell me I'm not the only one to have had to deal with this!
