I have recovered from the holiday..just. I wanted to say a big thanks for all the support and great advice I received on my previous thread.

I struggled and instead of being shredded I got a lot of very good advice, a new perspective and the support I needed. So if you contributed, thank you it really really helped.

What will make it all fine is that you are not taking it personally. You're voicing your views as you should do. You'll have laughs together in a few years, looking back, and will feel vindicated in a humble way when she'll say then 'yeah, I was a real brat on that holiday wasn't I?'
