My h2b has two children from a previous relationship. For 2 years my stepson lived with us as he is autistic and mom couldnt cope. We had a brilliant relationship and i quit work to look after him. Last year his mom decided that she wanted him back and within a week of this happening i was getting accused of abusing him. There was no marks on him and a police investigation cleared me off everything. But social services banned me from any contact and my h2b to have supervised contact. We carried on until xmas and was advised that we needed to attend court to gain access. Social services were ordered by the judge to do a report on the last report. We have just received this and the social worker has told my h2b that because we are getting married he is putting my needs before his children's and that supervised access is still required. I don't know what to do anymore we haven't done anything wrong. The mom is lying to social services about the amount of time he lived with us and that the children do not want to see my h2b anymore. We have pictures from them saying they miss and love us.

I really don't know what to say Logansmum (hugs). It sounds like a horrible ordeal for you. This is one of the dangers of getting too close to your stepkids because we have no legal rights to see them, and they have no legal rights to see us either.

Are you in contact with a good solicitor?

How old is DSS and DSC?

I really hope things go well for you.

They are 6 & 9. We have a good lawyer but social services are stopping us on no evidence x
