Two fixtures on same day. Which to choose?

Play hockey for school?
Or play netball for local club?
Both at exactly the same time this week.

How to choose which should take priority?

TIA

Tricky.

Which one does your dc like the best? Team and sport
Which one will suffer most if s/he is not there? (Guessing she but not 100% sure!)
Any consequences for not being there - will she get pulled from the team, detention from school, miss out on end of season party/etc?
Which one issued fixture list first?
Which is easiest to get to/nicest to watch for you/least likely (or not!) to be called off for bad weather?
Which has other friends in that she mosts want to see/play with?

At the end of the day, if all things are effectively equal then give your dd the choice and support her in telling the other team that she isn't available to play as she already has an existing sporting fixture.

Thanks for the reply.
DD had no hesitation in choosing the school fixture but she feels bad for the other team.
But I think the other team's manager is not best pleased with her choice.
Luckily for DD I think she is good enough that she won't be dropped from either team and hopefully, conflicting fixtures will be a rarity.
But is there an etiquette for this I wonder?
Or is it just up to DD (and me as her chauffeur Smile) to choose?
