Is it unreasonable to have every match on the TV. Discuss

paulrn Fri 15-Jun-12 13:53:09

i mean of course our tv at home

tefek Fri 15-Jun-12 13:54:31

YANBU we haven't missed a game yet

GrahamTribe Fri 15-Jun-12 13:56:09

Of course not. It's there to be watched, even if it is England's painfully dire performance.

Oh, and btw, the "discuss" thingy. It's very teacher-like. Just asking the question would have sufficed, honestly. wink grin

bows head in shame maybe I am too controlling she should leave me smile

GrahamTribe Fri 15-Jun-12 14:01:26

Maybe you should kick her out if she's moaning about the football! grin

fruitysummer Fri 15-Jun-12 14:01:47

Don't know about your house but bloody well is in my house grin.

I can't stand the damn game,

DH is sent upstairs if he wants to watch it, however I am letting him yes letting is the right terminology watch the England game downstairs tonight so I'm not a total bitch, honest wink

PersonalClown Fri 15-Jun-12 14:02:48

I've missed 2 games.

I'm more interested in watching than DP is. He's happy playing loser wars Star Wars online.

Jins Fri 15-Jun-12 14:03:32

Is there football on?

How dull

dreamingbohemian Fri 15-Jun-12 14:04:03

I don't think it's unreasonable if everyone is happy to watch (we are really into football here in our home) but if one person is not too keen then it's only polite to prioritise, and just watch the more important matches. Especially in the group stages!

dreamingbohemian Fri 15-Jun-12 14:04:57

Can't you watch them online too? Also a good compromise.

AWomanCalledHorse Fri 15-Jun-12 14:05:39

Will be watching them all here.

paulrn Fri 15-Jun-12 14:05:41

Ah Graham you assume its me that wants it on I hate it with a passion I hate spoilt little boy games give me RU anyday

kdiddy Fri 15-Jun-12 14:05:52

DH has a thing where he always wants to watch every tournament game of the Euros and World Cup. I've always known this and I don't mind for the sake of a couple of weeks. It's entertaining watching him come up with creative ways of getting back from work for the 5pm kick-offs though.

I am more bothered about incessant football during the season, that just seems interminable.

Tokamak Fri 15-Jun-12 14:25:18

Shoulders with paul on the RU.

No footie on telly at all in our house at all. Fortunately MrsT hates it too! She loves a bit of RU, though.
