In Cyprus at the moment and we have been got by the local fuckers mozzies. We appear to be quite tasty. DH has 5 and I have 4.

I think it could be a trip to the pharmacy in the morning. Grin

Yikes that looks bad. Hope they are not too itchy.

They look more like horse fly unless you are allergic? Hope you have some antihistamines!

Are you sure they are mosquito bites? Mine have never looked liked that! Go to the doctor Blush

Mine often go like that too. I got bitten 8 times last night - in the UK! So so itchy. Slathered in insect repellent tonight but the damage is done grrr!

Those look like sand fly bites

They do not look like mozzie bites, have you tried an antihistamine? They look so sore!

Mine go like that! Not every bite, but since my early 30s I get reactions like that sometimes. It's bloody horrible. I recommend Sudocrem, for some reason it seems to take the redness out. And Piriton.

I've got another 7 today to bring my current total up to 24. One got infected and I couldn't walk for a week as my foot swelled up. Blood sucking bastards.

Mine always go like that. Antihistamine needed

I get bit abroad by mosquitos a lot and they’ve never looked like that (I find they come up similar to pet flea bites). Definitely looks like an allergic reaction to the bites (google it) or like others have said sand fly bites

I had one like that recently. I went to the doctor, who prescribed steroid cream, strong antihistamines & antibiotics too. I don't know what bit me but it was so sore & itchy.

I have 6 like this. Get them every year as the mozzies bloody love me. My poor mum is the same.

Definitely mozzie bites. The bastards.

I get them in Menorca too. One year, there was a heatwave there and all of a sudden it went cooler. I had 18 bites on one arm and 22 on the other. That was sheer hell.

I take B1 vitamins for 3 weeks before I go now (old wives tale) and now I only get bitten half a dozen times instead of tens upon tens of times.

Yeah, mosquitoes do that to me too. In Washington DC I once got bitten 30 times in half an hour before deciding to call it a night. It was very bad.

I get these as well - pure agony. I take odourless garlic tabs for about a fortnight before I go on holiday, and while I'm away. It does seem to cut down on the number and severity of the bites

I get the most horrendous bites and I’m covered in scars. Got bitten like mad on holiday last week and came up on huge red patches. Antisan plus hydrocortisone plus piritpn works a treat
