Oooh first time I get to post after being a long time lurker.
It's about the size of a 5pm, painful and red and rubs like buggery.
DP is bringing back the mag sulphate. I've done my reading and hear that's the thing to bring things to a head.
As I haven't used this stuff before, how long will it take till it's squeezable?
DP is not a sporner, sadly. But he does say my spots make me look younger. Haven't had one of these post-shaving ones for years - pre MN.
So excited

It doesn't look much unfortunately, but it's sore and quite deep. Have been applying the mag sulphate but nothing coming to the surface.
DP has been entertaining me with stories of blood poisoning

I had one of those, reaching the size of a small plum. I tried hot compresses and mag sulph, nothing worked. Eventually, after about a week, I went to my GP, and after dithering a bit about whether surgery was required, she went for antibiotics. Two days later a small head developed which produced a long stream of watery pus, which continued for two or three more days with encouragement. Then squeezing became more, er, rewarding, producing over the course of the next few days globs of gunk that popped out in a deeply satisfying way. I had the feeling that it was the antibiotic that produced that result, but who knows. Either way, once the pain went, which was basically when the pressure was first released after a head appeared, it was all most enjoyable.

Egg has failed to develop a yolk despite much mag sulph and hot flannel. It seems to have gone back in on itself and not so painful.
Couldn't have got anywhere near squeezing it when it was pulsating but now am feeling cheated.
So will it disappear, more of the ms and hot flannels or is it worth a visit to the GP if it hasn't gone. Would say grape sized under the skin.
I really wanted something glorious for my first contribution Sad

Practice Nurse was beaming when I went in this morning to display the egg. And encouraged more mag sulphate and then a squeeze. She agreed it was a pity it appeared to be disappearing all by itself but did detect a head. And if it keeps coming back she mentioned one of the GPs 'digging it out'.
I reckon she'd have filmed if needed. In fact, I reckon she's a MN sporner.
