Dh has had a lump of impacted earwax for literally years. Now normally gordon(the lump of wax) doesn't bother dh, they co exist beautifully. But every now and then he gets the hump and blocks dhs ear so we are forced to attempt to evict him. We have only managed to make him calm down and move out the way. Not once has he even come close to finding his way out. He's stubborn.

So we decided to forget the otex this time and go for the olive oil. So three days of oiling, I get the bulb full of warm water and prepare for a long battle. Yet in one squirt, ONE SQUIRT!! Gordon was defeated, look at him, look at him in his squishy glory. It was the best moment of my marriage yet.

Nurse wouldn't show me what she syringed out of my ears - so disappointed- esp if it was like this!!

This is amazing. Gordon, I salute you.

This is fabulous!

I get strangely jealous of DH's earwax and he's never produced anything that impressive. Off to show him this and tell him to pull his socks up.

It is impressively dark... Ancient in fact. DH and DS1 regularly produce far larger, though. Honestly, I swear I don't know how there is room for it all up there. I want one of those squeeze gadgets though, the syringe technique is exhausting...

Mmmmmmm.

Excellent use of the coin for size comparison.
