Hello you lovely lot!

I'm looking for advice & posting here instead of general health for traffic.

Since Monday I've had huge red bumps on my arms, both arms but left is worse. They're not itchy, not sore but do feel warm!
Progressively got worse & more of the wee blighters! Now have some on my hands. Some have started weeping clear fluid, not much but enough to notice!
They're not like any midge bite I've had before as I tend to heal quickly so I'm uncertain that's what it is.
Been taking O.T.C. antihistamines and applying antiseptic cream, baths don't irritate etc.
My general health is OK, I'm coeliac but no known exposure to gluten etc which may cause a rash.

Any suggestions as to what it could be or advice to get rid would be most welcome. I've tried squeezing one, just made it very angry looking!

I apologise now if I don't reply straight away, hectic day today. TIA!

(Photos don't really show true scale, 1st photo is left forearm, 2nd is right forearm. These spots are all over both arms)

They don't look particularly squeezable to me, what about some steroid / hydro cortisone type cream?

Tried hydrocortisone cream & it stringed like hell.
Visited a pharmacist who thinks I've taken an allergic reaction to something as it has gotten much worse & lots of wee blisters now. Given a different antihistamine & to get myself to GP if not clearing by tue/wed.

That looks like folliculitis.

This might sound a strange question but have you been working in the garden? I get this when I'm in contact with hogweed in the sun - water filled blisters which then leave me with red scar which take a few weeks to fade.

I was going to say allergic reaction too, it definitely looks like urticaria. Have you tried a topical antihistamine lotion or cream such as Eurax?

If it were a reaction it'd itch like mad.

Feet hadn't even considered folliculitis. Have small blisters on my fingers too now. Yes I thought it would itch like crazy too if it were a reaction but pharmacist said not everyone gets really itchy. It's very warm to the touch.

whojam no I'm not a gardener, DP likes to potter in the garden so I just leave him to it hide.

Tyrion haven't tried eurax on this as last time I used that for a prickly heat type rash I took a bloody reaction to the cream damn my sensitive skin. Someone at school pick up did ask me if I'd come out in hives. I'm not tolerating having arms covered very well so the rash was on show today 😐
