Hello! Initial ASD assessment appointment for ds tomorrow: can I get a handhold?

Hi all

After years of discussion and debate, we've got an initial (1 hour) assessment appointment for ds (14) tomorrow with a consultant.

I'm feeling really nervous that I haven't done enough prep or getting my ducks in a row - SENCO and hospital are both doing a 'don't prepare anything, just come ready to answer questions). Any top tips? I've got a spreadsheet where I've tried to record examples of behaviours, but am struggling to track things back to early childhood, will that go against us...?

Hi, don’t worry about preparing anything.
The practitioner will ask you specific questions and in our case ones we didn’t anticipate.
Hope it goes well. My DC was turning 11 when we went through the process and it felt amazing to finally have our concerns addressed by a professional.
