I have found myself involved in helping to set up a secondary schools nuture group. The idea is to make secondary schools a more emotionaly supportive environmentfor all, students and staff.
This would be, I would imagine of particular interest and hopefully help to families of children with SN.
Can I people ask for some help? What examples of good practice have you seen in secondary schools in helping children develop secure and mature emotional lives? What things could we put into place to make the trasition from the small and supportive primary school to the larget, more disparate secondary school? What would help?
