If you click onto my profile, you should see a small figure on a rain swept street - the summer term has started. It was only 2 hours but seemed to go well. It has been thanks to all the advice that I got here on this forum that he was able to get what we hope is an excellent school place. I think the early days, I honestly thought they would want to help to find the best school for him..

2nd day in now - taxi could not find us (wrong address again !! I think they must have computers that cannot accept any changes to data !) so escort appeared about 10.am in her own car - but is very nice so that is something.

Hope all other 'WeeNetters' are doing well at school.

ds's taxi got lost going to school yesterday as the area around the school (in the Gorbals) is all getting redeveloped so the roads had all changed on his satnav, i was driving behind him tooting and getsuring madly in the other direction

I keep meaning to update my sat nav too though I'm not quite sure how as a lot of the roads I use don't exist in the current map data again due to re development. Let's hope it all goes well tomorrow
