Hi Jak - I would love to come again, but now I work Mon-Fri and have to drop off and collect ds up from school. It only leaves 6 hours in between which isn't very long to do anything with.

How about a weekend meet up? Is that any good for anyone else?

I REALLY want to meet up with you all....desperatly want to say a HUGE Thank you in person to all of you. Sadly as I live on the edge of the planet in quite possibly one of the most difficult places to commute from, this is not possible!!!
London is a five hour drive...and not a nice one at that...I can get the train but would have to travel up to taunton (an hour and a half drive) then the train takes a couple of hours.

So a midweek meeting is nigh on impossible as I would arrive just as the kids are being kicked out of school and would need collecting!!!!

A weekend meet up would be great...dh can look after the kids and I can have a day off!!!

I'd love to finally meet up with you guys but it would have to be planned well in advance and I could only make Saturdays by myself or non-London meets e.g. country, seaside - in school holidays with the children.

I'd like to come if I am not too 'new' to the site.

Similar situation to Jayzmum re location, although DH works 4 on 4 off so weekends or day doesnt amtter to me so much.

Jayzmum, if you can get to taunton we could travel together perhaps?

I propose a SATURDAY meet-up, maybe in LONDON so as many people as possible can make it AND a WEEKDAY meet-up.

We kind-of agreed 10th June I think in London. But that's AGES away.... I'll still put that in my diary, although its a Friday, but maybe a date can be arrived at for the Saturday Club too? Or make it the following day, 11th June? Anyone in London want to meet up before?

10th is very cool for me for week meet-up. Or Friday May 13th for one closer?
And I can do most Sats apart from My 28 and June 4

Yeah the 10th sounds fine although a Saturday would be better as I would have longer. Found it hard to leave at the last meet up as we all had so much to say!!!!

I could do pretty much any Sat except 21st May and most Fridays for a short lunch as long as the meet is fairly near Covent Garden.

Saturdays are best for me really. That said, we're in Greece in May/June - so maybe catch you on another Saturday sometime? Have fun

Hi:
We leave London July 10th but will be very busy from the last week of June with movers and work and all those last minute things to do.

I'm good for London June 10th or possibly Friday May 13th if you all would rather meet sooner.

London weekend meet is also okay for us generally.

I still want to meet in Brighton too - May 14 or 21 any good?

Okay - how about:

Brighton weekend meet-up 14th May

London weekend meet-up 11th June - to give those who live a bit further away time to organise and buy apex tickets etc

London weekday meet-up sooner - maybe beg - mid May for those who can easily do London but a weekend would be more difficult.

I could probably do all three - does that make me a meet-up tart?

I could probably make the June weekend meet-up. I won't say a definite "yes" yet though because everytime I've got my hopes up so far something seems to have happened to stop me getting there. Grrr!
