I posted this -

Completely pointless article from a completely pointless person. Who decided we would want to read what JH had to say?

she's so far up her own arse she can knock on her teeth.

I know this is irrational, and I shouldn't feel like this, and it makes me a worse person, and I am showing myself up, and it wastes my energy, but I just have to say it...

I so hate this woman.

There, done it.

What a surprise, she again displays her 'Fuck it, fuck them, what about ME?' attitude.

I can't help thinking her summer holidays would have been very different had she not left her child in hospital.

No direct payments cuts days before the holidays for her. No scrapping for the one suitable playscheme (with 6 spaces per day for the whole city).

Deeply, deeply unpleasant and hateful woman. Also mad as a box of frogs.

What I'd like to know is how much she was paid to write such unmitigated garbage. Not just to say who gave the go ahead for this to be placed in the magazine.

Perhaps the headline should be 'Julia Hollander leaves her child at home with strangers so she can go on holiday'!

No doubt the JH followers will soon be dropping in to tell us all how awful we are but the words "shallow" and "self-centred" are probably the politest words of those that spring to mind.

Funny that. Haven't posted my comments or any others either.

Yup - poor writing style ( my cat could do better) and self admiration. There was an article by her in the Guardian a few months ago about how she wants to pass on a stronger and more generous legacy to her children

lifeandhealth.guardian.co.uk/family/story/0,,2280588,00.html

Seriously, the family history is very sad but I don't think she is passing on much of a legacy.

What a pointless article ??? why would people want to know about someone that used to be green but now doesnt give a fig??

gives the impression "as always" that its OK not to give a FUCK so long as its for your own selfish benefit!!

interesting guardian article in the context of her own decisions... grandfather having made decision to cut off all contact to 'save' his family, when she would claim that was the rationale behind her decision? her argument being that by saving herself (in what society would deem a selfish manner) she was saving the whole family etc... i'm sure there's mileage in a pseudo psych article about history repeating itself...
all's well that ends well (and other assorted cliches).

should have saved the ink on the flights thing tho.

that was a very interesting article you linked to cyber. I think revealing as to her father's attitude to perceived "weakness" .

The summer holiday articles - even without knowing any of her background it's smug bolleaux of no relevance to my life, pure "polly filler"!

Even if I didn't know what a self absorbed cow she was, I would still have been left wondering wtf the point was of that artacle.
