Restraint in mainstream

When ds1 was in mainstream they asked for restraint training ahead of autism training or behaviour management training.

DS1 has never been restrained in special school.

The lack of understanding about the reasons behind autistic behaviour and triggers etc is a huge problem in mainstream schools ime.
