My DS12 is so overweight- he will NOT stop eating. Of course this is partly down to me but he has ASD and ADHD and to not give in to his constant "need" for food results in violence.
I know part of his problem is impulsivity because I too have ADHD and since I've been taking medicine for this, my impulsivity for food has diminished and I have lost a lot of weight. DS can't take ADHD medication due to historic medical issues. Any advice would be gratefully received.
