Advice, if poss, on managed move between schools & school transport for ADHD Ds

Ds has ADHD with autistic traits. Has not been getting on at his current school for a couple of years and is now down to 2 half days at an educational centre and 3 half days at his school. He is also in the process of applying for a statement which we have all agreed will almost definately arrive. His school he is at present have said that in Sept they will not have him back.

Firstly, I didn't think they were allowed to say this as if they are named on his statement then they have to provide for him.

Secondly, his current headteacher has said she will help with a managed move to another school but I cannot get him to any other school as I don't drive. Is there anyway that I can get school transport help etc...

I don't know where to turn to for advice and this needs sorting as he has been on half days for too long and needs to be back in full time education with the help he needs, especially as dd is starting school in Sept too.
