Ideas for direct payments use

Hi
My son has just been awarded direct payments amounting to approximately 4 hours per week. I have a member of staff from his special school who is going to work with him.
I'm interested in what others use their direct payments for. He is 9 and virtually non-verbal, severe ASD and learning difficulties. He is an active child and is almost climbing the walls at home, so he needs an outlet for his high energy. He also needs constant supervision.
I'm thinking swimming, large play parks, possibly climbing (although he would be unable to understand any rules), trampoline park, soft plays and possibly a disability gymnastics sessions.
Has anyone got any other ideas?
Thanks

DS2 gets 6 hours every two weeks, and he does a lot of what you've already suggested with his PA. He would love to do horse riding therapy, but there is nowhere local.

We have riding locally, but I'm not sure it's right for DS1 yet, he is very wary of animals. Shame you don't have one local.

Babysitting, so you can go out.

Ideally I want him out of the house though, as he is climbing the walls at home. I need him to use up some energy.
