Using childcare on ski holiday for ASD 6 year old

Can anyone advise on which ski holiday companies would be helpful in arranging appropriate childcare for a 6yo with ASD, dietary problems and hypotonia? Our DD won't be able to ski but I'm I would like her to have some contact with the snow and perhaps attempt a snow club. Any advice or just telling me how you have done a family ski holiday with 1 person with SN.

We went with Snowbiz. I will admit that our DD was only diagnosed 3 weeks later so we didn't say anything to them about ASD (we didn't feel we could because it wasn't formal at that point). It was obvious though. They have a crèche up to 6 and she loved it (I think because most of the children her age were off in lessons and she got to be the oldest but also do stuff that was appropriate to her ability rather than her age). All the staff were amazing and kind and she loved them. The resort was small but great and the ski lifts are literally 10m from the apartments at the bottom.

As far as going with one child with ASD we just gave her the afternoon off with lots of iPad time and trips out when she wanted them. Both DDs loved the outside pool (it was too cold for me but DH took them every day). It was self catering but with cafes. Older DD loved skiing with DH in the afternoon and I read loads of books in a snug apartment.

I'm sure there are other places and I'm sure others would know of some where they cater more specifically for SEN DCs.

I have friends that booked through Neilson and they were very impressed with a summer booking they did with their little one with SN.

My only advice is to look for clubs that also cater for a lower age range, e.g. 3-6 year olds as opposed to 6-10 year olds. So they are the oldest, ratios and care are higher.

Other than I'd ring resorts direct where possible, I haven't done skiing but I've done for a hotel club.
