My youngest is 11 and I really don't know what to do about this, now every night as he is going to sleep and every morning as he is waking he rocks in bed, this can go on for anything from half and hour to 3 hours a time, he's bust 3 beds from doing it due to the force at times from the rocking, he has also done this from being a baby. We initially thought that he would grow out of it but he never has and it's getting worse, for all you can hear at times is him banging with the rocking. Now he is not actually aware of himself doing it either, during the day he is constantly on the move, struggles to be quiet, to sit still, he's no volume level and gets louder and louder. School holidays are a nightmare cause he's like a bouncy ball that never stops. I'm absolutely mentally and physically knackered all the time in trying to keep him occupied yet nothing seems to burn his constant high energy. Any ideas anyone please.
