Fleeting about MN as you do. Read a thread about a mum who aborted at 17 weeks as had tested positive for DS.
I was absolutely shocked by the responses on this thread. I've kept my mouth shut as the mum is obviously hurting.
My boy has a rare gene mutation and is severely delayed with lots of physical and Mental disabilities but he is the most amazing, wonderful, loving child you will ever meet.
I guess when you live in the SN world you understand that and you meet more SN families.
My dear friend was a sonographer but had to give up work when she had a boy with DS as she could she people aborting children who were as amazing as her son.
God knows how I ended up in that thread but I won't be going back. Xx left me cold.
