So... what do I do with it.

I definitely would like to reprint some pages again and sort it out in order. But! it will mess up the numbering.

I know I need to send this off to my witnesses. But do I make notes on it..etc..

Don't try to rearrange it at all, it's the bundle everyone will be working from and you will just cause chaos and piss off the panel members if you try to change anything. Ignore the duplicates, it happens regularly - some LAs file documents regardless of whether parents have done so already, and the tribunal just copies everything in the file without checking for duplicates.

So just send copies off to your witnesses as it is - don't make notes on it for them, it is for them to go through the bundle and be ready to comment on the relevant documents. If there are particular documents you want to draw their attention to, perhaps so that they can be ready to give evidence about that, do that in a covering letter or a separate email. Likewise if you want to alert them to mistakes of fact in LA documents, do that separately.

Go through the bundle carefully to check that everything you have filed is in there, and tab the important documents so that you can find them easily during the hearing - also perhaps make a note of which documents they are and the page numbers. If there are duplicates of important documents, just tab the first version that appears in the bundle (unless subsequent copies are better quality). Make sure you know your way round the bundle very well, and can draw the tribunal's attention to important documents that support your case; and also that you and your experts can comment on LA documents.

Good luck!

I wrote the page numbers on the appendix page next the the appendix numbers so I could reference quickly!

They will wait while you find info but not indefinitley.

I would suggest writing an introduction about your son and take a photo to make him a real person! They might not ask you to introduce him but they have in the 3 I have been to!

Good luck Flowers

Icimoi has lots of good advice for organising the bundle. I did just tab the first version of duplicate copies in the bundle BUT the school (not the LA as it was a disability discrimination case) referred to a subsequent version later in the bundle which was confusing ( for us and the panel) and I wish I'd noted page numbers for each version of the same document in my 'index' to the bundle. Then when the school referred to e.g. document 'A' in the bundle on p.236, I would have known that document A was also on p.123 - and since that was the first time the duplicate document appeared it would have been the one I had 'marked up'.
