Hi, my friend's 5yo has been diagnosed with both visual-spatial and auditory processing issues, for which she's been having OT for about a year. Think they're still investigating other diagnoses; paed's have suggested both ASD and ADHD but don't think either have been confirmed yet. (She is also off the scale intelligent, just to complicate matters.)
The question we have is about the girl's daytime toileting. She has accidents pretty much daily, partly because she won't ask to go when she needs to but then, she tells her mum, she stops feeling like she needs to. Until it's too late.
So my non-MNing friend and I were chatting and we wonder whether losing the sensation might also be some kind of SPD manifestation? And does anyone have any experience/advice with this sort of issue?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
