DS was diagnosed with ADHD 12 months ago. hes now on meds and doing really well. we paid to see the consultant privately to get him diagnosed then she transfered us the her NHS clinic. We see her every 3 months for check ups but she has now decided to leave the NHS and just practice privately. we would like to continue seeing her and could stretch to pay cor a private consultation every 3 months but if we had to pay for the medication too privately i think it would be a small fortune. Does anyone know if you can see private consultant but still get medication on the NHS?
