Thank you I need more it made me realise how bad her autism is as she couldn't tell me she was in pain or where it was . also couldn't explain the doctor was helping her

Poor thing, hope she's better soon. Is she on antibiotics?

Waiting rooms are crap when you have a child who finds it impossible hard to wait at the best of times and is feeling like crap. Sad My only advice is to try to play the learning disability card at times like these. It often depends on how nice the receptionist is! Wink

Thank you yes she is on antibiotics I telephoned and said dd has autism and obviously more clinically urgent cases need seeing first but could they not make her wait to long as she gets distressed Sadly it didn't work we waited ages

Sad I hate waiting rooms. The iPod touch has made them better, but these hand held toys are the start of a slippery slope.
