I was just going through Ds's ( 15 asd / dyspraxia) blazer before I put it in the machine and I find an intricately cut Xmas decoration in an envelope with his name on . Very pretty.

Just called up the stairs ... "Ds? What's this.?"
He says " It was from this girl in science ... She keeps giving me things"

" What else?" Says I

"Chocolate, a pen ... Some other stuff"

(Absolutely clueless )

" So ds ... Why do you think a 15 year old girl might be giving you things?

( No response... Just him pondering)

" D'you think she might like you? As in LIKE, like you?"

Him: " I don't know.... Does she?"

Me: "Errr yes ... As a former 15 year old girl I would say its a dead cert"

Him(smiling)... "oh I did wonder what she was doing"

Grin...( And.. As dd (9 nt )said...that poor girl!)

Grin
I'm looking forward to that stage too!
DS is only 10 and when girls do that to him, he is still of the opinion that girls are a different breed and to be avoided at all costs.

Grin How lovely! She wants to huuuggg him! she wants to kisssss him! (That was me singing btw Grin) In all honesty my DB nt was exactly the same at that age I remember having to politely point out that one of my friends had been blatantly-obviously-neon-signs-all-lit-up-wouldn't-leave-him-alone trying to snare him for the past 12 months!!

Is it just me being biased, or are our lads generally nicer-natured and better looking than their same-age NT peers Xmas Hmm

Lol... You may be right
I was actually amazed and impressed that HE had wondered why the girl was giving him stuff.Smile
He's very handsome and very quiet and very kind. LBecause of this, I think he has started to turn heads of girls who wrongly think he is trying to cultivate a silent ,cool persona....whereas actually, he's pretty oblivious.Grin
