Thank you for advice -re: special schools

Just wanted to thank everyone for their advice a few weeks back re: special schools. We'd got DS' statement through naming a BESD school, which was the only appropriate SS in our area. A few people questioned BESD, which make us look into things further and continue HE while we looked around. I couldn't find any independent schools which would be appropriate, but by the powers of google, and looking at neighbouring counties, we've found an appropriate school. It's an ASD school, 6 children per class. Head teacher is great to chat to on the phone, and we're off to have a look round next Friday.

Finally feels like something positive is happening. At last!
