Not sure I can ever face her again Blush

I have had a terrible week with the girls but mainly very worried about dd1s mental health.

I went in to ask if there was any full-time nursery places to what she replied, "under what criteria"?
I said "under that fact that I'm just so tired" and promptly burst into tears. She was so nice and said of course we can have a full-time place. :) but I'm now worried they will assume I'm not coping! I am just about coping but will admit it's hard.
Do I email her and just explain myself better or just pretend nothing happened?
I always feel bad when I cry infront of professionals but I don't know how to stop.

I wouldn't worry at all about crying in front of the HT.

She will think the truth, that you're trying to cope with an awful lot.

Don't email her, pretend nothing happened - because nothing did happen. Crying is normal and fine.

So far in the last year I have cried in front of the HT, Deputy Head, SENCO, Family Liason Worker and teacher all in separate meetings. It worked for me. They gave him the interventions he needed. Had I just stayed strong and quiet, I am not sure that they would have taken things as seriously as they have.

BTW don't say anything about the crying.

I think I just need a default "I agree with Indigo" button!

Aw bless ya Lisa...don't let it bother you honey. I bet she's cried a few times herself in front of others.
The thing is it did the trick; as in you're getting a place for your child which you might not have got if you hadn't cried and shown her how low yu are feeling.
Don't worry about her thinking you can't cope either. She's not daft.
She sounds lovely actually.

I wouldn't mention it either or email! Have a treat tonight to cheer yourself up and try to put it to the back of your mind!

I've cried in front of four separate people just this week - (it's been a busy week) I've eaten a treat size bag of giant buttons and a treat size bag of crunchie rocks, I'm now feeling much better :)

I have cried in front of ds HT too,and had the same thoughts omg what if she thinks im not copeing Sad
However it was probably the best thing i could have done cos i actually made her cry too and up till that point i really thought she was a bit hard, bitter and twisted. My opinion soon changed and we had a fantastic relationship since that eventfull morning.
