Minutes from proffesional meetings

I read somewhere that a parent can request the minutes of any meeting that discusses ds (obviously not the whole meeting just the bits about ds).

Is this true and how do I go about it?

You need to make a subject access request. More info here www.ico.gov.uk/for_the_public/personal_information/how_manage/access_info.aspx

I had a wierd minutes experience-what do you make of this. I requested the minutes of our last meeting about my ds. All professionals there. Senco had her secretary typing minutes. Minutes sent out as list of actions. However, there was much discussion that wasn't included in minutes or list of actions. I asked for full minutes including these discussions and was told by Senco that secretary would be embarrased about them as she rattles them off, she re-emphasised this several times. Then said they would be have to be ammended and changed because of this so called 'embarrassement' before they could be sent out. I am sure you have a right to all minutes of meetings concerning you child. Thanks TT wife I might need that link too.
