Incontinence service have changed contractors to Abena so had a meeting with the incontinence nurse and a rep from Abena discuss new products (as ds has non standard stuff) Agreed what we would have for this delivery and that it would be same quantity as before. Easy???

HA! Delivery arrived today and the first thing I noticed 15 less bed protectors. It's what is on the delvery note so none left on the van, not marked out of stock/to follow. So looked at the other stuff and these work out slightly less too. So I am expected to use 0.8 of a bedprotector a night and will have to tell school to cut a bit off each nappy, we'll then be sticking the bits together for later use. I know they don't split packs so it seems that someone has been rounding down.
Am now waiting a phone call back to see what is happening. AAARghh!

Your AAARghh wasn't anywhere big enough for them to hear! just tell them that you will send them the remaining 0.2 % of soiled bedding and clothes to clean as you are rounding down your washing accordingly.
Sorry, no useful info as school nurse won't let me have anything as DS2 is in pants through the day and soiling like a possessed creature, but school are changing him, so that's OK [fhmm.
Just empathy winging it's way as mum to 3 diarrhoea ridden DS. Xmas Smile

hope you get it sorted starfish, that sounds like a lot of rounding down!

auntevil, I'm wondering if that's the same one that fed me a load of crap the other week about toilet training dd3! Have you seen the sn specialist one yet? We're going next week.

Bigcar - do you remember my post about the multidisciplinary constipation team? - well, that's apparently my next route. Did laugh about some of the comments that came back on that one.
Is your SN blonde 40s first initial L?

oh yes! Very funny Xmas Grin We saw a L, not the warmest of people I thought, but will be seeing V for our next encounter. She put loads of pressure on to toilet train then rang a couple of days later to say we couldn't have pull ups. I think as starfish has pointed out, nothing is straight forward!

DS has gone into school with his new pads today. Abena don't do pullups (neither did Hartmann but we got them as a special order). He's now got pads that we stick on to his boxer shorts. When we tried the samples they seemed OK, so I am keeping an open mind - it means that we don't have to take trousers shoes and splints completely off to change him so I am hopeful.
I just hope they are not leaky.....

have you managed to get hold of anybody yet to find out why you are getting less. I must admit I got my calculater out to check my last delivery as the size was changed on the last order and I've found the order was rounded up, only by 0.19 but still!
