Annual report from school - SEN policy?

Has anyone ever had an annual report from their school detailing their SEN policy? Apparently all schools should do this but I have never seen ours.

When I was SENCo I had to do a little section in the annual report outlining the progress SEN pupils had made.

Very few policies on anything are readily available from our school. you have to ask the office for everything - which they can never find - then takes an age to get.

are we supposed to get an annual report or is it something we get to see if we ask?

Apparently governing bodies have legal duties under the 1996 Education Act to:
Report each year to their parents on their policy for pupils with SEN
Take account of the SENCOP when carrying out duties towards all childen who have SEN
Make sure that all staff who are likely to teach the pupil are aware of their needs

Just interested as am a PG and we are soon to review the SEN policy. Will be interesting to see why I've never seen this.
