Just a heads up for anyone in Hampshire: the forms are totally different from the one's you can download from their website.

The covering letter says:

^We have made some changes to the DLA claim form for children....

We are now ready to undertake a live test of the claim form...

The "Test DLA Child claim form" is being issues to customers in your area wanting to make a new claim for DLA for children aged under 16.^

There are places that I can use what I have but the questions are different and there are tick boxes now where there used to be questions.

It's going to take me ages... I felt so well prepared before that I think it's just knocked me sideways, as if it wasn't difficult enough already!! Wish they'd bloody well mentioned it on the gov website Sad

Oh! That's annoying. I did DD1's renewal in August and got the old form.

I got dd3s renewal this week, it's exactly the same as before. Sounds like you get to be the lucky one to try the latest idea Hmm I'm sure if you post here someone will be able to help if there's anything specific you get stuck on.

If I remember right I think there was soe consultation last year, aybe with the Autistic Society re trying to simplify the DLA forms for children.

Looks like you get to be a guinea pig. doesn't help though that you've spent precious hours of your tie forulating your answers to the old form. :(. xxx
