Hoping someone can give me some advice.
I currently work an as asn assistant at a mainstream school. My son also attends an asc base within another mainstream school his school has been subject to constant staff changes which is having a negative impact on the class as management are allowing teaching assistants to teach the class when a teacher isn’t available. The assistants are amazing in the base but personally I don’t think it’s fair on them or the children.
I also have 2 daughter who are in p7 and p5, both have an asc diagnosis and are attending mainstream schools, I’m concerned however about my eldest daughter as she is due to start high school this year and I haven’t had good reports on the support given at the high school she’s due to go to.
Any guidance and help on “good” high schools and primary bases anywhere in Scotland would be so appreciated. We’re in a fortunate position that we can move so I’m trying my best to find the best possible support for the kids.
Thank you 😊
