alternative to connecta for almost 10lb 5 month old

dd was premature and is now almost 10lb at 5.5months old - she doesn't want to be froggy legs in the connecta anymore (just tries to stand up!!) - but isn't comfortable with ehr legs spread yet (tried the clip to make it narrower and doesn't really work) - any suggestions? was thinking mayb the ergo with the newborn insert as sort of sits in it?? but I am only just over 5' so thinking might not work for me... any other suggestions - knows she would liek to face out, but know no carriers are ideal for this... help!!
