Pouch sling - Huggababy? Babbasling?

Can anyone help? I want to buy a pouch sling for my 2nd DC due in Dec. My DS will be 2.2. I know lots of people prefer wrap slings but I tried them with DS and I really didn't get on very well as I found them fiddly and difficult to use when sleep deprived! I want something quick and easy to use - mostly I expect I'll be using it for the first 12 weeks. I am 5'4", very petite and so need something that will fit me well.

Does anyone have any recommendations or advice? I have looked at so many my head is spinning!

There are loads of different types out there. Must admit I prefer the pouch its more traditional and flexible. I used the BabaSling. I'm a fan on facebook for the BabaSling amoung other baby wearing sites and there have been some smashing reviews on theBabaSling lately. This will fit you as one size fits all. Its really easy to adjust, like anything once you get the hang of it which won't take long you'll love it. There are even videos on-line to help you with the positions should you need it but the instructions are really good.

www.rockinbabysling.com is shutting down and selling off their gorgeous pouch and ring slings cheaply.

Babaslings are fantastic.

If you scroll down the page here you will find a list of tried and tested UK sling suppliers, including pouch sellers.

I have never tried a Babasling but I'm interested to see it does have fans because everyone I've met who used one didn't like it. Their opinions were that it was bulky, uncomfortable, difficult to adjust and expensive for the use they got out of it.

yes i'm afraid my babasling was a disaster - my ds was a very upright baby and HATED being cast down into a black hole of fabric. i couldn't adjust it at all either - i cut my losses in the end and sold it one ebay. doomed from the start it was!
