I joined sw 3 weeks ago I've lost 9 pounds I'm delighted I want to loose just under 2. I'm quiet bothered bu the fact that the leader is very big hes lost 5 stone which is absolutely brilliant someone told me he lost and gained it twice. His wife takes the money and he does the class she so her weight as well by about a stone + their daughter was there today young girl very over weight. If they are alm doing sw which I imagine they are why are they alm over weight please dont attack me I'm just saying they aren't a good advertisement and it's a bit dis heartening is this sustainable? I did ww years ago twice and my own fault I ouy weight back on the 2 leaders had fabulous figures to die for?

That’s slimming world’s model. Never teach you healthy eating, just a cycle of dieting and then putting it right back on, then having to join SW to lose it again

The diet industry as a whole is a total scandal for this very reason

My first consultant was still on her weight loss journey. But all the others I have seen have been target members maintaining their losses.

SW appears to be all about "fakeaways"

2 consultants I have had have been maintaining , 1 was trying to lose the last bit of baby weight and 1 puts the same 4 stone on and off again , I agree it's terrible advertisement when they like to say it's a lifestyle change both a diet

I am on SW but dont go to group anymore simply for the fact it is so insincere and a rip off.

Double payment if you miss a week.. They kicked me off the site cos i havent been to group.

I like the idea of sw but all it does is teach you a balanced diet.

But i hate when they say eat free foods or carbs unlimited thats not a healthy attitude at all telling us to eat unlimited carbs and not excercise.

I guess its for uneducated people who dont understand nutrition and clearly im one of them seen as that i have to stick to the plan to lose weight
