Do I count the syns for the healthy extras?

Just that really. I joined 2 weeks ago, got a very cursory run through from the lead person, and although I have lost 4 lbs, I am not entirely sure if I am actually on message at all.

your sins are in addition to your Hex A and B, so you don’t sin them

Thanks shesparkles, so even if I have porridge in the morning, and have some fruit and fibre later, that's OK?

OK, that makes sense. Otherwise I could eat everything and it wouldn't be much of a diet I suppose.

If you've already had your healthy extras, then you syn it as appropriate.

For example, youve had 2x weetabix as your healthy extra B and you've had 250ml of semi skimmed milk in the morning. Your healthy extras are now used for the day.

However, if in the afternoon you have decided you want jacket potato with cheese. If you grate 40g lighter cheese, you would have to syn it at 6 because you've already used 250ml of semi skimmed milk in the morning. If you decided to have 2x wholemeal toast, you would have to syn that too because you had weetabix in the morning as your healthy extra B.

I always syn my healthy extras (I syn my skimmed milk at 3 for 175ml for a milky coffee, and have 40g lighter cheese as my healthy extra A for lunch/dinner), cos I like to use some more rather than use syns on chocolates and treats because I have no willpower when it comes to that!
