Fish cake syns

Hi, can someone help me please? I am on my fourth week of Slimming world now (have lost 8 lbs).

I am trying to get my head around the syns in certain foods. I have bought some cod and chorizo fishcakes from Morrisons and cannot find how many syns there are in each one. I think there is 270 cals per fishcake. I heard that it is approximately 2 syns per 20 cals, is that correct? If so, does that mean there would be about 13 syns per fishcake??!

No, I have the app but could not find anything on there about how to calculate it.

Maybe ask your slimming world adviser to help?

The syn calculator is on the normal website, not the app. You can put in the nutrition info and it will calculate for you. Otherwise, email pictures of the packaging to SW and they will work it out (but this isn’t much use if you need a quick answer!)

I don't go to meetings. Doing it myself. Did slimming world a few years ago so know how it works. Can't find it on their website. You probably need to be a member and log in.

My book says fish cake contains between 7 & 8.5 syns. The lowest points is on its own the highest is with cheese. Per 100g chorizo is 12 syns. Not sure if you could guesstimate from this?

I’d probably go for the higher plus 1 or 2 to be safe maybe?
