That's good to know. I've only lost 1lb in my first week and though they might be to blame but maybe not...

Free but not speed I think

Not speed no so if you've been having them a lot as your veg with meals that will be a factor.

So really the only truly 'free' foods are speed foods...

Are you having 1/3rd speed food on your plate or were you using the peas and sweetcorn as your 1/3rd?

Report
SeaSeeker · 02/08/2017 10:26

I was using the peas and sweetcorn Confused

You need to add speed then. Carrots, courgettes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, broccoli, sugar snap pea, baby corn, spinach, cauliflower, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, radish, beetroot, pickled onions, gherkin are all examples of what you can have.

Look in your book there's a list of speed fruit and veg near the start, plus maybe have a reread of it all

How did you get on this week @SeaSeeker

Report
SeaSeeker · 11/08/2017 14:08

Better thanks @Groovee, another couple of lbs. I'm going away for a couple of weeks so I think I'll struggle to stick to it then but I feel much more like I know what I'm doing now so when I get back I'm knuckling down. At least I know the scales can go down

Deedee, as long as you haven't added any fats or thickeners (flour etc), and no skin on chicken that looks to be syn-free.

Report
Groovee · 22/01/2018 15:14

Looks syn free to me unless you added gravy or oil x
