Emotional after reading success stories

Decided to join back with slimming world back in November as I was already overweight & then put a further 2 stone on.

Just read success stories to see if losing 6 stone would actually be do able & omg! So many people having actually lost much more than me!

I actually feel like a slim future is in sight!!

Tell me I can do it! I am putting bloody everything into this, I can't bear going into my 30's overweight!

I have just joined my local SW group (in week 1 here...) and have also been really inspired by some of the stories I have read online and some of the people I have met in my group. Many of them have lost 5+ stone and have managed to maintain it for several years too. I have over 6 stone to lose and it has really given me hope that it is doable. Reading how well others are doing is massively improving my motivation and optimism.

We can do this!

Glad someone else feels like me....I'm on week 7 but due to xmas & end of relationship, I had 3 weeks off so have actually only been 4 times.

Back on it & actually following the plan now, so hopefully Il start seeing results soon!

Have been following it religiously for 2 days, doesn't seem long but I've find I'm doing great! Not even hungry.

You can do it!

I reached target June 2016 and am still maintaining.

You will find your relationship with food will change and it's becomes part of you. Now I'm not saying it's easy but it is by far the easiest diet I've ever tried.

I lost 4 stone on total for my wedding day. I gained 3lb over ther Christmas period and lost 2lb of that last week so just the 1lb to get back off and again I'll be at target.

I'll add a pic..

overitalready you look amazing - well done! Seeing results like that does really encourage me to give this a proper go and stick at it. I have paid for 12 weeks upfront as I think that will encourage me to keep going until this way of eating becomes a habit.

My concern is that I feel like I am eating too much still - in the form of speed veggies mainly. I am a little concerned whether it is possible to eat this volume of food and still lose weight. I have been sticking to it and have not been at all hungry between meals so not snacking at all (knowing that I can if I want to does make a huge difference) and not sure how I will have room for any syns today.

I guess I will find out on Thursday whether I'm overdoing it on the veggies.

Omg, you look great!

How long did it take to lose the weight??

I bloody hope I do well, I'm 26 weeks pregnant so not expecting huge amounts of weight loss each week

It took a year to get to target then I've somehow managed to maintain since then apart from the Xmas blowout!

I've never been to club, I followed all from home. I ordered the magazine, followed the slimming world thread on here, joined every group on FB / twitter / instagram. I weighed in every week and made myself a scrap book to note the weekly loss / gain.

Club just wouldn't have worked for me but this is me..everyone has there own personal journey.

I tended to stick to the same rotation everyday really :

2 poached eggs on wholemeal
Apple
Yogurt

Then my dinner curry / chicken etc

People slag off mugshots but for me they were a lifeline during the hungry moments.

Fill your dinner plates with veg / salad

Also treat yourself I would have a Cadbury snack everyday or a curly wurly..something to keep you going through out the day when you know you have something to look forward too.
