Has anyone bought any of the Corey books?
Am looking to try out a few new recipes especially for lunches and was wondering if anyone could recommend any.

Thanks Smile

I have two, the fake away one and the best meals one.

Honestly, it's a little hit and miss. I wouldn't say there was anything particular lunchy, but there is a book for lunches especially. Do you have something in mind or just wanting general ideas?

My SW consultant just tells us to take pics of the recipes we like the look of, rather than buying the books. There's a meeting tomorrow so I can do so then if you'd like?

Hi gruffalo.

Have been following the plan for a few months now and have lost 2 stone so really want to keep going but am getting bored of the same dinners. So I guess I'm just looking for a bit of variety. Happy to do dinner leftovers for lunch too so was just wondering if the books would give me some more inspiration.

Lucky you with your consultants idea re photos. Ours is great but don't think he'd approve of that at all!

There are loads of recipes on the website and quite a few blogs out there to give you recipe ideas. I quite like Slimming Eats.

There are a few Facebook groups dedicated to recipe shares too. I'm not good at lunch, I tend to just have fruit and a couple of ryvita with philly.

I bought Fakeaway which I've never used.

I tend to decide what we want to eat and then make it SW style.
Nothing has beaten me yet!!!!

I have the Best Loved Extra Easy recipes book which is quite good but I get a lot of my recipes from the Hairy Dieters books - their currys, goulash and casseroles are delicious and their recipes fit really well with slimming world. Lots of them are free if you switch the oil for fry light and the others are low syn. I recommended them at group and now lots of people use them, including our consultant.
