Motivation when it's your second time round :(

Hello all,
I did well on SW, losing 2 stone in 4 months. Then 3 months ago I moved and put it all back on like I was on a mission. I feel disgusting, unhealthy, obese and angry at myself.
However, I've found a new group - relatively nearby - on Sat mornings. I've arranged with the leader to go this weekend.

I'm worried It'll be a thousand times harder to keep motivated this time, knowing how easily you can slip off the wagon...It's scared me because it's made me realise SW might not be sustainable in the long term.

Anyone had success second time round?

I've just rejoined after a couple of years of half heartedly trying to do SW on my own whilst getting fatter and fatter I'm on my 2nd week and still riding high on newbie motivation. I'm feeling really determined so my head's in the right place which I think is essential. I believe you've got to really want it to happen and then it'll work smile

I rejoined last November after stopping due to an accident in 2012, Which has left me disabled - Not as mobile as I used to be so I was half expecting to really struggle to get the weight off..!
Well Since November I am 5 pounds away from my 4 stone! Which nearly puts me back to where I was in 2012! You can do it! Well done for getting back on the diet!
Wishing you every luck!

Thank you so much, MrsGlam - how brilliantly you're doing!!!
I started in Nov too and if I'd have kept it up I could be in your position. sad
I have been dithering today but absolutely going tomorrow.

I lost 2 1/2 stone between October 2013 and July 2014. Then I got an illness that meant I was put on steroids. Couldn't exercise at all and had to eat a high fat, high calorie, high carb diet. I tried to stay on plan as much as I could and go to SW still, but my weight just went up and up so I stopped going. I rejoined in Jan this year, 3st 3lb heavier than my lowest weight the previous July. I'm still on the steroids, but have now lost 2st 1lb in 24 weeks. I've got another 3-4stone to lose, but I've absolutely no doubt I'll do it and keep it off. Even though I'm still over a stone heavier than I was, some of my smaller clothes now fit and those that don't I can get in and do up, but just need to lose a few more lbs to be able to wear them in public, if that makes sense? grin
