I've been doing slimming world since the end of dec last year, I've lost over 3 stone and gone from 16 stone 2lbs to 12 stone 13lbs. However I still feel terrible I look disgusting in all clothes and I just have no confidence. Don't really no why I'm posting but does any one feel the same I'm still doing it and determined to loose it all and get down to between 10 stone 7lb and 11 stone 7lb (will see how I look when I get there) any tips to help speed things up? Doing 2 SP days at the moment.

Lbn - I've just started and can't add much advice but I saw your post had no responses yet and I wanted to congratulate you on your hard work and great success so far. Have you read the article in Junes Slimming World magazine about body confidence? Hope you're still doing well and feeling happier now Smile

Oh well, lbn, I must be a minger as well. I'm 12-5 and have no hope in hell of getting back to 11-4 I was 9 years ago.

You need to focus on the positives of your body, you've come a long way from 16+ stone to 12 numbers. Don't focus on the numbers now, you can become obsessed.
I can look at me and say fat belly, but my boobs are where they should be and I've got toned legs & shoulders.
Look at yourself that way glass half full type of thing.
With your clothes, wear what suits not what's fashion. Draw eyes to your nice bits. ( a v - neck top makes your neck look longer)
And BE KIND TO YOURSELF!!!!!Smile

Take some photos, of you in your old clothes, then in clothes that fit you now and put them all side by side with old ones.

That helps with working out what you actually look like.

I don't feel thinner, it's weird, I know I am...but I don't feel different, partly I think because it's taking a while for my brain to catch up (which photos help with) and partly because underneath the fat was not a supermodel body, rofl, which makes sense as I'm a middle aged mum.

So I concentrate on small things, like collar bones appearing and I exercise now, so I'm weirdly proud of the fact I have muscle definition in my arms...I mean I exercise all my body, but I can see it in my arms.
