She's happy to go to bed, wiggles down, gets a story, says 'night night' and by the time I've got to the bottom of the stairs she's got out and bum shuffled out, opened the door and laid herself down on the floor behind the closed stair gate which we have at her bedroom door.
We used to go stgraight to her, no words, or if any a few key words like 'dark, bed' stay, sleep' or whatever. We'd just put her back in and then leave, no fuss. But this would go on and on.
By the way, she never, ever calls out, she does all this very quietly.
So sometimes we didn't know she'd got up and we'd find her asleep but we nipped to the loo or went to bed ourselves.
So we ended up just leaving her there till she fell asleep and then put her in her bed.
Just now I've gone up and there she is on the floor. She's not quite fast asleep, so I put her in bed, lay with her stroking her back and hair etc. I get up and come down and I can hear that she has got out of bed and is back lying in her little spot!
What would you do?
Just leave her and not worry?
That's what I'm doing but just wondered what you might do if it was you.

Sleep
She sleeps on the floor every night - bothered, or not??
