sleeping 'folded over'

Hi. Just started CC three days ago. The routine and settling thing is going ok apart from the fact that DD falls asleep "folded over" and when we go to lie her back she wakes and we have to go through the process again!
Has anyone ever had a child who falls asleep when sitting up (crying!), but then slumps forward asleep?
I know, I know, many of you might come back saying "You're lucky she's asleep!". But,it doesn't look very comfortable and we think that when left like that it is the reason that she stirs quite often throughout the night and it takes her longer to settle herself back to sleep (possibly because she is not comfortable).

Any ideas?

How old is she? How about leaving her and keeping an eye to see if she finds her own more comfy position?
My dd sometimes sleeps with her bum stuck right up in the air but I just leave her to it.
Let sleeping babies lie I say!
ps good luck with the cc we did it with dd1 worked a treat but preoperly took 2 weeks. We did it at 6mo and now at nearly 2 she's still a great sleeper.

Should have said - she is 10 months old and so far the longest we have left her is 1.5 hours in that position. She showed no signs of moving but we felt too guilty about leaving her like that!

Don't worry, my ds2 has always slept like this and still does, now at 2. When he was small like your dd, he would stay in this position all night. Now he chops and changes through the night, but tends to always fall asleep in this position.
