i am so lucky with my dd (15 mth) with all she has been through she has always smiled and been happy, slept through from being 6 weeks, easy to wean, easy to swap to cows milk (even after suffering a lactose intolerance from 3mth to 6mth) has basically always been a angel...

now when i have put her to bed i have always stayed in the room till she has dropped off, the last couple of nights i thought i would try leaving the room, just putting her in the cot and going downstairs....she is a gem!! no crying at all, i just put her in the cot, give her a kiss, say goodnight (she says bye! lol) come down, and by the time i am downstairs...she is asleep what a little star!!

just thought i would have a proud mummy moment lol

That is fantastic. Why can't they all be angels like your little darling! You must be very proud and you deserve to be. Very envious!!

Oh, bless her! She sounds adorable, LM, really sweet.

How is she these days? She's been through a lot, little poppet.

Right! That's it. Never mind sending them to lockets and frogspawn, they're yours! You can give them some Lilly dust and get them sleeping through. Last night DT2 decided that he wanted to play at midnight. Stayed awake for ages finally slept at who knows what time only to wake again at 6 asking to play.

They are yours!

Congratulations Lil

HM...she is fine running around like nothing happened now lol, getting a little anxious about another potential problem now though, to do with her eyes, because i am short sighted and have needed glasses from being 5yo, and her dad had squints in both eyes as a baby, they have done eye tests every 6 months, at the last eye test (in dec) the outcome was she is slightly short sighted in one eye (means she very unlikely to get a squint as only happens with long sightedness) so she has a eyetest on 7th june, and if her eyes are the same as last test or gone worse...she will need glasses. her eyes may have corrected but very unlikely plus still waiting for this mri, which i am not sure if they will do that now she is walking fine. (sorry. very long lol)

mars...sorry not emailed you back been having loadsa probs with broadband and not been online for ages!I WANT YOUR DT'S lol

jm...ahh bless your dd, lets hope she carrys on sleeping through for ya, how are you now? hope you well

every one else thanks for the replies xx

i dont know if anyone's still there. i,m new to this, i just started after i saw justine and carrie on discovery channel. my boo(dd) was 7 mths on tue. she's been sleeping thru the night since 6 wks and took well to her solid staright away from 4 mths. she sleeps quite okay say from btw 9.30 -11.30pm depending on her mood and wakes btw 5.30-8am. i would like her to have a regular sleep time say 9pm to maybe 6am cos dh would usually give her a bath around that time as he's getting raedy to go to bed.

she also does something in her sleep she kind of winges or cries out for a bit in her sleep without waking up and sometimes i pat her or ignore her and she stops by herself. is this normal?????????????? (1st time mom)
