Sleep

Can someone tell me what those things are called you put between your pillows for baby to sleep in?

And are they any good? Remember seeing one in a catalogue and thinking they seemed great.

Snuggle nest, we've got one - it was great for DD's crib when she was newborn as she didn't like all the space.

Not so great if you want to use it so you can co-sleep and b/feed at the same time as you can't get your boob over the side (well I couldn't anyway).

I'd have thought they're a waste of time and money as the point of co-sleeping is for the closeness. You could put a bed guard on and let baby sleep on the outside, I found that much easier and meant I wasn't worried about DH not knowing where baby was in the bed and we could still snuggle up together.

Yeah, we've got a bed rail (we don't co-sleep full time but I let DD sleep in our bed after she wakes up at about 6) that's better than the snuggle nest for co-sleeping.

THe nest was absolutely fabulous for getting her in her own bed though, and also handy as a portable bed pred-travel cots stage.
