Random question about bed guards

I need a bed guard on our kingsize bed for co-sleeping. I've seen this one on the mothercare website but I've got no idea how it attaches to the bed and whether it will work with a king size. I tried calling a store but they were no help. It might be a while before I can get to the shop.

If anyone has one can they tell me whether it would attach to a large bed?

it says it is for single bed sizes e.g. 2' 6" or 3' - there are 2 bars that go under the mattress and hook onto the opposite side to the guard itself so the bars probably wont be long enough to stretch the length of a king size bed.

Ours is a Tomy and fits on any type of bed as it just has bars that slide under the mattress and are held in place by the weight of the mattress (and the child on top).

I mean it doesn't clip or attach to the bed itself so it doesn't matter how wide the bed is.

mine is a tomy one too and has hooks on the end of the bars that stop it moving out from under the mattress i.e. they need to fit round the other end of the mattress

Thanks. I wondered whether they clipped on but also thought that they probably wouldn't state whether it fitted an adult bed as it's a product for children...

Sorry, very slow typing as also feeding.

Thanks Castille, I'll check it out!

Ah, thank you Seona. Do you think the weight of the mattress and me would hold it in place?
